A horse to go to the top! A horse with eye-catching looks, paces, and 10 out of 10 for trainability. Wizard is a stunning combination of genetics from Grand Prix bloodlines with an outstanding personality! He is a wonderful combination of the Briar temperament and the Wow Wie personality. He simply shines when he shows off and is proving himself a superb competition horse with a distinct lack of spook and a natural inclination to conserve energy, firing up only when required. Wizard is by Grand Prix stallion Byalee Wow Wie rw, who was winning at that top level on more than 60% just after he turned eight. Wow placed in the Medium Tour at Sydney CDI this year. Wizard’s dam, Byalee Beautiful, was one of our top broodmares before being broken in, being by Byalee Briar from Grand Prix stallion Richmeed Medallion (imp) mare Magnolia, who is in turn out of a Jazz mare – Jazz being another international Grand Prix horse! Byalee Beautiful is now under saddle and training elementary/medium, a truly special, talented and yet sweet mare. Byalee Briar is looking really flash in piaffe and passage and has started one-time changes. Meanwhile, Wizard, a third-generation Byalee horse, has been winning and placing at every one of his outings and has scored more than 70% at official preliminary dressage. He is also pretty enough for the show ring, where many of his close relatives excel. Wizard is working through shoulder-in, leg-yielding and counter canter – he truly takes all of the movements in his stride as he flies along the path to Grand Prix. He is simply stunning.
