Churchill MBE is by Wimborne Constable, who is impressing in the eventing world with success in the 4* class. Wimborne Constable is the only stallion in Australia competing at the top levels in eventing. Constable is by the eventing stallion Contenda out of the mare Wimborne Paint it Black, who in turn is by Gribaldi. Gribaldi is famous for siring many of the Dutch Grand Prix dressage horses including Totilas. Churchill’s dam, Zena, is by Kenlock Superman who is an imported Oldenburg stallion who produces outstanding types with superb movement, and many of his progeny are successfully competing in advanced dressage, eventing, show jumping and showing. Superman’s dam is by Art Deco who was a Grand Prix dressage horse and eventer in America. Churchill combines a great mix of dressage, jumping and eventing lines, so he could easily excel in any chosen discipline. Churchill is well-handled and can be easily caught, led, tied up, floated, etc. He has also been lunged and free-jumped and shows potential over small jumps. He is ready to break in next year and will be sure to be a future champion.
