Dante is a striking chestnut colt that offers you the chance to join the ranks of international Grand Prix – no less than six of the Grand Prix superstars at this year’s World Equestrian Games were by De Niro, including Australia’s own Du Soleil ridden by Kristy Oatley, ranked 12th in the world with a new Australian Grand Prix special record of 74.6%! In addition, De Niro is the sire of other international Grand Prix horses such as Rio Olympic gold medal winner Desperado, WEG gold medallist D’Agostino FRH, and WEG bronze medallists Delgado and Glocks Voice. De Niro (dec) is regarded as one of the most successful dressage sires worldwide and has been described as ‘the embodiment of the Hanoverian stallion’ and ‘an exceptional stallion of superlative type and performance’. Dante’s dam, Ribena R, is by superstar Regardez Moi (imp), who has been Australian Grand Prix champion no less than three times. Ribena R is out of Shakira R, by Salute (imp), sire of Stirling Stilton (highest-placed Australian horse at WEG Jerez 2002) and Victory Salute (World Cup representative and Australian Grand Prix Champion). With bloodlines like these, it is no wonder that Dante has the breathtaking movement so easily shown in the photo. This colt is bred to go all the way!
