Lady Sandra – Sandy – is by an exciting young stallion with amazing bloodlines out of an unusual palomino mare by Regardez Moi (imp) out of a Du (imp) mare. Sandy’s striking buckskin looks are just the icing on the cake for an exquisite filly who barely touches the ground when she moves and is bred to be an international Grand Prix champion. Sire Lord Sandreo K combines the bloodlines of Grand Prix stallion Lord of Loxley (Brett Parbery and Hans Peter Minderhoud) and Sandreo (also campaigned by Hans Peter) who of course carries Sandro Hit and Metall bloodlines, with Metall bringing 2004 Olympic silver medallist Olympic Ferro into the mix as well as the much-proven Florestan lines through Santina’s dam line (via Freestyle). Sandreo, with six breed society approvals and many licensed sons, was a young horse champion while Lord Sandreo is already out campaigning here in Australia. Sandy’s dam line includes Australia’s most successful ever Grand Prix stallion, Regardez Moi, as well as the imported Swedish stallion Du (Lesley Anne Taylor). What a mix! Sandy is well-handled, accustomed to being stabled or paddocked, and shows great trainability, lunging at walk, trot and canter and performing in hand with a calm and willing attitude.
