Erinskay Royal Windsor x Dunwingeri Bint Hathna
On account of Sarah Clark
This is a GST exclusive Lot
ASH Starlight (aka Starry) was bought for Sarah Clark when she was eight years old and was Sarah’s first pony after her Shetland. Sarah is now 16 and although she is still riding Starry, she has way out grown her. Neither Sarah nor her mum Fiona want to sell Starry, however, Sarah is now making horses her life and Starry does have the potential to partner another child and show them the ropes and be a schoolmaster to higher levels of competition and, most importantly, be safe and provide a lot of fun. Starry as a dressage pony has taken Sarah from walk-trot classes to Prix St Georges, so Starry can produce flying changes including tempi-changes down to every second stride. Sarah and Starry are right now fiddling their way through the beginnings of changes every stride. Starry will do canter pirouettes, shoulder-in, half-pass and extensions. Starry is very quiet and is still capable to this day of doing a walk-trot test. Showjumping, Starry is amazing and will easily canter over 1.10m, which is nearly as tall as her! Starry is brave and clever in front of fences and does not stop. Interestingly, from a professional’s point of view, Starry is also very careful and does not have rails down. Eventing, Starry is a superstar and has competed at pre-novice which is 1.05m. No problems with arrowheads, ditches, water jumps, apexes etc, etc. This is the pony of the century.
