Fiji R is an exciting imported stallion campaigned and trained by young rider Breanna Tilitzki right from breaker to the present, where he has numerous Grand Prix championships to his credit. Fiji R has consistently posted scores of up to 75% throughout his career, qualifying for Australia’s elite international, Sydney CDI, State and National Championships. Fiji R has the quietest of temperaments and often will be found at Young Rider competitions with just Breanna and her mum as rider and guardian. This temperament Fiji R passes on to his foals, who have sold for as much as $35,000. Fiji R has quite remarkable paces with a very distinctive walk. Trot is fully suspended with a definite ballerina poise between beats. Canter is beautifully balanced and uphill with super easy flying changes. Fiji R is sensationally bred with his sire Florencio being both the 5yo and again the 6yo World Champion young dressage horse. Florencio I is by Florestan I who has emerged as one of the recent very important dressage lines in Germany and who has a number of Olympic offspring to his credit already. On the dam line is a mix of Trakehner through Hohenstein and thoroughbred through the Hill Hawke line. The Hill Hawke line has become famous as a dam line by also being the dam line of the Welt Hit line. Many of the top Australian riders have a Fiji R youngster!

Fiji was bought as a foal by Rozzie Ryan in 2004. Fiji right from the start was a spectacular looking youngster with very fancy paces. He is by Florencio who was twice World Young Dressage Horse Champion, as a 5yo and again as 6yo with Hans Peter Minderhoud in the saddle, both times scoring 10 for his canter. Florencio was perhaps one of the most exciting young stallions in the world at the time, but unfortunately had only a couple of seasons before succumbing to EVA, a condition that for a time has made him pretty well unviable as a serving stallion. As Fiji was in Florencio's very first drop, we were particularly fortunate and so offer the Australian breeder a bloodline that is not going to be readily available anywhere in the world.

Florencio is by Florestan I who is having significant success as a sire of World-class dressage horses. To name but a few: Floresco, ridden by Patrik Kittel, Beijing Olympics 2008; Floriano, ridden by Steffan Peters, Aachen WEG 2006; Fidermark, successful stallion (now deceased), ridden to Grand Prix by Dutch Marlies van Baalen; and Ferrara, campaigned up to Prix St George by Isabell Werth before being retired due to injury.
Florencio is out of a mare named Walessa, who is by Weltmeyer and out of a Pik Bube mare. Weltmeyer is of course the sire of Warum Nicht, of international fame with Isabell Werth in the International Grand Prix Dressage Arena, and Pik Bube I (full brother to PBII) was the Professional German Grand Prix Champion under Herbert Rehbein.

Fiji on the dam side is out of a mare called Hawaii, who is a sensational looking mare by Harvard. Harvard himself a sire of the future, is by Hohenstein who is perhaps one of the most outstanding Trakehner sires in modern times. Right down on the bottom line of Hawaii, is Hill Hawk, who is Thoroughbred and is responsible for the dam line of all the Welt Hit stallions (1 to 6) who have been proven to be very successful in the dressage arena, Welt Hit 6 was Champion at the Bundeschampionate with Ulf Moller. Right down on the very bottom of Hawaii's line is again Pik Bube and this is not only a performance stallion but also features in the dam line in such outstanding stallions such as Don Schufro who is the team bronze medal winner at the Beijing Olympics with Andreas Helgstrand and other legendary sires such as Davignon, stood by the Pape Stud in Germany.

Fiji was purchased to be a competition horse as well as a sire, similar to Regardez Moi and Jive Magic. Fiji R is now being campaigned and trained by young rider Breanna Tilitzki, where he has numerous Grand Prix championships to his credit. Fiji R has consistently posted scores of up to 75% throughout his career, qualifying for Australia's elite international, Sydney CDI, State and National Championships. Rozzie's comment about Fiji is that his most outstanding attributes are his really, really sweet disposition and his spectacular good looks. He is attractive for breeding high performance warmbloods that are compact in build and height.
