Quokka is big strong filly with extravagant movement. She has a very quiet nature. She is by the exciting young sire Questing R. He was the 2017 Australian Elementary Champion and last year averaged 77% in the dressage competition arena. This was, to our knowledge, the highest average of all dressage horses in all levels in Australia. Quokka is out of a young big-boned 17hh TB of a warmblood type. Whatstheintention is a lovely, well-balanced type with a quiet nature. This is her second foal. Her first is a 2yo of beautiful athletic type with excellent movement and very quiet. Her sire line is Redoute’s Choice – currently one of the most influential TB sire lines of quality thoroughbreds in Australia. He is by Danehill who is in turn one of the world’s most influential sires in recent history. On the dam’s side, Flying Nicko is by Flying Spur, known to produce athletic horses that have had successful performance horse careers. Quokka was born big, strong and precocious. She has correct conformation and is growing well. She is naturally quiet and is showing the trademark movement of her sire. She will have an exciting competition career. Questing R is now no longer available to the public and so sourcing Questing R foals is indeed going to get difficult. Quokka is as good as it gets.
