Jack Sparrow K is a lovely, elegant young horse with a willing and quiet nature. He has three lovely ground covering paces and a natural uphill way of going. Jack’s sire is Jive Magic, who was a big-time Grand Prix dressage winner in the past with Rozzie Ryan in the saddle, having won the Sydney CDI Grand Prix class in 2010. Jive Magic in turn is by Jazz, who is ranked in the top 10 dressage sires in the world. Jazz has a massive influence on the genetics in the top 25 horses in the world and contributes heavily to the medal-winning teams. Jack’s dam is Brandy K who is a homebred mare sold as a high-goal polo pony. She was purchased back when she finished her polo career as she was such a lovely mare to breed from. Brandy K’s dam was ASB Highway Morning out of Lilac Haze by King Karora. Brandy K’s sire was ASH Firestorm, a lovely sire of predominantly polo ponies, who passed on his athletic ability and wonderful temperament. At the time of these photos and videos, Jack had been broken in for five weeks. He is a joy to ride and tries so hard to please. He is very safe to ride in the bush on trails and has a wonderful, unflappable nature. A very sweet, trainable horse that is very straightforward. A special gelding who should excel in dressage.
