Desert Dior is a super fancy young dressage horse, by imported dressage sire Desert Storm (Dr Doolittle/Fuerst Heinrich) out of the AWHA-registered mare Fiorucci (Fidji imp/Ludendorf). Dior has stunning good looks and movement to burn. Dior has just had her first dressage start where she placed fifth. Dior is a rising 4yo, currently standing 16hh but will continue to mature. She has three outstanding paces with a naturally elevated trot and a very active hindleg in the canter. She will make a fantastic sport horse in either the dressage or eventing arenas. Dior has been professionally started by Dan Maloney and now, after a spell to grow, she has returned to work and is ready to start her competition career. Her sire Desert Storm with Sappho Ransan-Elliot in the saddle has competed very successfully up to 2* (previously 1*) eventing and has just started his Grand Prix dressage career with very impressive scores, placing well at the recent Boneo CDI and National Dressage Championships in the CDN Grand Prix. Dior has two full siblings who have started to make waves in the competition arena, showing how good a producer her mother is. This is a serious horse for the future.
