Bradgate Park Magnum is an astonishing eventer that comes from an amazing family, being a full brother to Heath Ryan’s top eventer Mystery Whisper, the youngest 3-star winner in the world when he won Sydney 3DE last year 2008 and EFA Horse of the Year 2007.
Bradgate Park Magnum is being campaigned at pre-novice level with lots of wins to his credit. He usually wins or is in the top few in the dressage phase. Cross country he is fast, clever in front of his fences and bold. Showjumping he is very scopey, has great technique both front and back and bascules classically.
As a straight dressage horse he has won official elementary classes and is schooling all the medium work and pretty well all the advanced work with tempi flying changes, shoulder in half pass, extensions, and canter pirouettes.
As a straight showjumper he has from very limited outings won at 1.10m classes and is very comfortable jumping around 1.30m tracks.
Like his full brother, we expect Bradgate Park Magnum to easily do well as a 3*** eventer. For sale through no fault of his own, definitely a 2012 Olympic possibility.
