Anky is a spectacular mare, tall, chestnut and moves like a dream machine. She is by Ilkay, who was an imported stallion of excellent breeding but really not promoted in Australia and very under-utilised. Annaglanz was by one of
the first imported Grand Prix stallions operating in Australia called Elfenglanz. Annaglanz was out of Alpha II which was also the grand dam of Heath Ryan’s Londoner (by Ludendorf) who at 6yo was the Australian Prix St George and Intermediare I champion (today horses must be 7yo to compete at that level). Londoner went on with Mary Hanna to win the NZ Grand Prix Trans Tasman competition beating the entire NZ and Australian teams!
Russet R is so bred in the blue combining the best bloodlines in the world with Australian Grand Prix dressage performance bloodlines. She will make the most amazing top-of-the range riding horse but also represents a collection of bloodlines pretty well unavailable in one mare anywhere in Australia. A unique individual.
