Magritte x Sally
On account of New World
Maggie is a stunning individual with a pedigree to match. She is an outstanding type with quality paces, sired by international FEI competitor, Magritte, imported from Sweden. Magritte is by the elite-listed stallion Magini. Fantastically bred and an awesome mover, Magritte has breathtaking piaffe, passage and extended trot. He qualified for the 2003 European Dressage Championships with the highest score by a breeding stallion imported into Australia and boasts sons such as Maistic, bronze medallist at the World Young Horse Championships. Magritte was 3rd in
the Swedish Performance Tests for stallions, with 9 for rideability, and won both sections of his stallion licensing. He was initially trained by Jan Brink, who went on to enjoy stunning success on Magritte’s half-brother, the elite-listed stallion, Bjorsells Briar 899. Briar was the world’s number one dressage breeding stallion for 7 years.
On Maggie’s dam line, Salute (imp) is one of the most influential producers of Olympic disciplines in Australia today – international dressage horses Victory Salute and Stirling Stilton, and many more. Maggie’s dam herself competed to medium dressage and Maggie is an attractive, compact and eye-catching mare, genetically stacked to win against the best – an outstanding competition mount and future broodmare!
