Jervaise R is a beautiful young colt with an outstandingly quiet temperament who does have magnificent movement. Jervaise R is by Jive Magic who is the stallion of the moment in Australia. Jive Magic is often referred to as the most powerful dressage horse in Australia.
Jervaise R has a very interesting dam line. Grand Kavalier is deceased now but in our opinion was never fully appreciated in Australia and does have a number of progeny who are working through most of the Grand Prix dressage work. Not surprising when you understand that Grundstein II is the sire of a number of Olympic competitors and the dam of Grand Kavalier, SPS Resista, is a full sister to one of the most famous Grand Prix dressage stallions, Rubinstein. Rubinstein is of course also the sire of Regardez Moi. Right down on the bottom line is Ruffian who was a beautiful Andalusian stallion based at Felspar in the Hunter Valley and remembered for spectacular piaffe and passage. This Andalusian blood was introduced by Heath into his broodmare herd some 20 years ago with a view to improving piaffe and passage. Georgia R who is Jervaise R’s mother has had some very successful foals including Regardless R, born in 2006 and bought by international representative
rider Felicity Cribb. He is just this season about to start stud duties.
Jervaise R is bred in the purple and is indeed a state-of-the-art individual.
