Hoc’s Maxwell Smart should lend himself to any of the three Olympic disciplines due to having a wonderful cross of purpose-bred dressage mixed with some great jumping lines.
His sire, Medallion, had a long and very successful dressage career with Heath Ryan and Ann-Maree Lourey right up to Grand Prix.
His dam was a Grand Prix showjumper that jumped 7foot3 and was quoted as being one of the best horses to ride into a big fence.
Her dam , Misty Claret, was a B-Grade showjumper and a full sister to Mickey Mouse who was campaigned by Vicki Roycroft.
Misty Claret is by the great Souvenir out of the Black Pampas mare Sweet Sue.
