Jimmy R is a rising 4yo with a wonderful temperament. He is bred in the blue being sired by Grand Prix sensation Jive Magic and out of Russia R who is by Regardez Moi who has also on three different occasions been the Australian Grand Prix Champion. For the breeding buffs, Grand Kavalier is by Grundstein I who was a very serious sire 20 years ago. Of note is that Carl Hester rode at his first Olympics on Girogione in 1992. Girogione is also by Grundstein I!!! The mother of Jimmy R, Russia R, is indeed a full sister to the stallion Feldale Regardless R who is owned and campaigned by Australian representative event rider Felicity Cribb. This stallion excels in both eventing and in FEI dressage. Quite the sensation and, again, a stupendous temperament. Jimmy R is just so well bred!! So far Jimmy R has been broken in by visiting French working pupil Nadege Wendling and then schooled on by Hazel Shannon. Right from the start he has been a total superstar. Quiet, quiet, quiet. Jimmy R is just now going on the bit and holy smoke is he starting to show some paces! A wonderful walk, huge scope in the trot with super dooper hindleg activity and a beautiful, balanced canter. Jimmy R folds naturally through the poll and naturally has a soft and quiet contact with the bit. He is not the biggest horse we have ever bred but with the right owner he just might have the biggest future! Completely genuine.
