Byalee Beautiful is a truly special mare who has been one of Ann-Maree Lourey’s special horses, now sacrificed only to aid in the import of yet another stallion. Beautiful – alias Bloom - is a joy to handle and to ride, never unplaced in limited competitions and at her most recent outing with Dimity Lourey (after just two rides) scoring more than 70% and 2nd in both tests! Byalee Beautiful lives up to her name with oil-painting looks and beautiful movement – hardly surprising, given her genetics! An amazing mare, she is also dam to Byalee Wizard – sold to NZ for $22,000, Byalee Warlock (competing in Sydney with scores of 70%+) and Byalee Wie Believe, as well as up-and-coming stallion prospect, Byalee U-Beaut, by U Genius (embryo transfer). Bloom is by Byalee Briar, by Bjorsells Briar, world’s number one dressage stallion for seven years of Olympic and World Cup success. Dam Byalee Magnolia is by Danish Grand Prix stallion Richmeed Medallion (imp), campaigned by Ann-Maree Lourey with scores up to 67%. Magnolia is out of Jazz mare Splendid Jazzarena – Jazz being one of the world’s top five dressage sires. Byalee Beautiful is just so talented and working through all of the medium level movements. With her sensible and gentle persona, allowing her to be handled even by young children, she is destined to be a top dressage competitor!
