This is a magnificent 2yo gelding with plenty of bling to stand out in the crowd. He has quality and presence combined with three exceptional paces. His walk is true four-beat and ground-covering, his trot has spring and flair, and his canter is flexible and uphill. He has a wonderful, sensible and trainable nature. Combining legendary dressage bloodlines of Sandro Hit and Donnerhall, his sire, Shiraz Black (Olympian Mary Hanna) was always going to be a champion Grand Prix dressage star. Starting his career at DWTS he was Champion of Champions and went on to Grand Prix taking out medium and advanced level Australian Champion on the way. By super sire Sandro Hit, he was imported then exported back to Germany. Matrix’s dam, Buckwell Park Alabama, is by Grand Prix stallion Jaybee Alabaster, who represented Australia at WEG 2010 and in 2012 he scored more than 70% in the World Cup. He was also exported to Germany. Sire of numerous dressage stars including Albert (Rachel Sanna), Amerigo (Roger Fitzharding) and Jaybee Angelina (Justine Greer). Buckwell Park Alabama is the dam of Buckwell Park Heir Apparent (Royal and Australian champion, now having an impressive start to his dressage career) and Buckwell Park Galaxy sold at AOS to Olympian Sure Hearn. Alabama’s bloodlines go back to Valuta and Souvenir. This is a fantastic opportunity to buy a young horse with so much dressage potential.
