Delilah is a super-sweet, super-quiet young mare with super-cute movement. Delilah is pretty enough to show and will mature on the smaller side. With her trainable nature she should excel as a competitive young rider/small adults’ horse. Delilah was bred to be a top-level eventer but just didn’t grow quite big enough for Hazel. Her sire, Desert Storm, evented with huge success up to 2* level eventing with Sappho Ransan-Elliott before switching to straight dressage. Desert Storm is now competing Inter A and B and is entered in his first Grand Prix competition in early June. Desert Storm has the most sensational dressage bloodlines and has very easily mastered all the Grand Prix dressage movements. Desert Storm has an exceptional temperament and is super trainable and so far all of his youngsters seem to be inheriting those traits - so critical for a superstar. Desert Storm is unexpectedly a brilliant jumper being bold and careful and blessed with excellent technique. Delilah is out of Octagonal mare Porteos, who was selected for her type and temperament. Delilah is unbroken but well-handled and offers one of the first opportunities to purchase the Desert Storm bloodline. We certainly hope Delilah will follow in his footsteps.
