Quiggley is conformationally correct, has the lovely floating/free paces expected of his lineage, enough bling and flash, a great attitude to handling and the great temperament of his sire Questing R – who is by Quaterback and carries the Quando Quando bloodline. Quando Quando represented Australia in 2006 at WEG in Aachen, Germany and at the 2008 Olympic games in Hong Kong. The dam side is equally as impressive with the thoroughbred stallion, Power of Destiny, by Danehill. Danehill is sought-after as a sire of eventing and show jumping performance horses at the top levels both here and overseas. Danehill has been one of the most influential stallions in the thoroughbred industry and a descendant of the excellent jumping blood of Northern Dancer, also very much sought after. The offspring have also proven to have great temperaments. Quiggley, with his pedigree, is expected to be a high-level performance horse with the ability, looks and brains to be outstanding in any of the chosen Olympic disciplines.
Quiggley has been well-handled in leading, floating and hoof trimming and accepts any new task put in front of him. As Questing R is no longer publicly standing at stud, this is a rare opportunity to secure a youngster of this quality and his bloodlines. Definitely a horse for the future.
