This mare, nicknamed Isabella, is absolutely gorgeous. She has all the character, movement and presence that the union of her sire and dam could muster. She is in foal to imported Swedish warmblood stallion Byalee Briar, who also has fabulous jumping lines through sire Bjorsells Briar 899 and is the sire of Heath Ryan’s 4* eventer Bronze Boy, as well as dressage lines as is evidenced by Bjorsells Briar’s success as the world’s top dressage stallion for seven years. Isabella is a riding and breeding prospect being by Regardez Moi, the most winning Grand Prix dressage stallion in Australian history with more than 40 Grand Prix wins. On the dam line, Isabella is out of an Ilkay mare. Ilkay was a very fancy Dutch FEI stallion imported into Australia by Val D’Argent. Ilkay has, with limited opportunity, sired some very impressive competition horses. Interesting enough, Ilkay is by Varient. Varient is the dam line of two-time Olympic gold medallist and world champion dressage horse Valegro. And right down on the bottom line is Ludendorf, sire of Grand Prix dressage horses and eventers. Isabella is set to continue her career as a valuable broodmare. What a great way to buy an outstanding career prospect!
