BZ Mimco is a young mare who is beautifully bred as a Grand Prix dressage horse. At five years of age she does still have the potential to be broken in and campaigned as a top-of-the-range Grand Prix dressage horse. Right at the moment, however, she is in foal to the Grand Prix dressage stallion Fiji R. BZ Mimco is by AEA Metallic, who has wonderful Dutch breeding going back to Ferro who is called the ‘Black Pearl’ of Holland by the dressage fraternity. Ferro was on the Dutch Olympic dressage team here at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. AEA Metallic has himself just gone Grand Prix with Dirk Dijkstra in the saddle. On the dam side, BZ Mimco is also spectacularly bred with her dam Jillian R being by Jive Magic. Jive Magic himself is a Grand Prix superstar, having won the Sydney CDI Grand Prix in 2010. The granddam of BZ Mimco on the dam side is Slinky R. Slinky R is a full sister to Londoner, who at 6yo was the Australian Prix St Georges and Intermediate I Champion (6yos are no longer allowed to compete at this level). Londoner was then bought by Mary Hanna and went on the Trans- Tasman tour of New Zealand and competed at Grand Prix level for his first time and, unbelievably, beat the Australian and the New Zealand team members. Winner! So BZ Mimco is fabulously bred and will have the most stunning foal from Fiji R.
