AEA Dutch Ludwig is a tall, impressive colt with many traits of his sire. He shows character, is full of expression and his movement is elastic and floating with a lot of cadence.
Dutchman is the ?stemple hengst? (foundation) of the AEA?s breeding program.
He has produced many fantastic performers in all three disciplines including AEA Dutch Lorel (Grand Prix showjumper with Stephanie Dijkstra), AEA Dutch Treat (4* eventer with Lydia Lawrence of Tasmania), AEA Dutch Discovery (campaigned by several time Garyowen winner Carolyn Wagner) and of course Mr Dumbledore (ridden by William FoxPitt, the successful combination that has been shortlisted to represent the UK at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in eventing).
On the dam side, Stirling Luther combines the bloodlines of Ludendorf (imp) with the most successful broodmare in Australian history, Faleten (Hol by Falkland-Monopol).
