Lot 13 - F1 Acid Jazz
Black colt 6/01/05
F1 Acid Jazz is by the phenomenal supersire Jazz, an international Grand Prix winner and member of the Dutch dressage team with Tineke Bartels.
Jazz leads the KWPN in predicted breeding value for his year, having sired numerous approved stallions and champion mares.
Jazz’s sire, Cocktail, was Olympic winner Anky van Grunsven’s great hope, with many wins and placings in international dressage. Jazz himself needs no introduction in Australia being the sire of Rozzie Ryan’s Jive Magic and Rachel Sanna’s Chatham Park Jac, both aiming for the Beijing Olympics.
F1 Acid Jazz’s dam is Stirling Sorbet (Salute/Double Cream), full sister to renowned Grand Prix showjumping stallion Stirling Sprite, campaigned by Vicky Roycroft. Sorbet has movement to burn, and the athleticism and bloodlines to succeed in the jumping world, but was snapped up for breeding by our boutique stud at just six!
Sorbet has produced phenomenal foals - brother (by Rotspon) sold overseas to an FEI rider and sister retained. This latest cross has resulted in an amazing colt demonstrating double talent for dressage and jumping – exactly as planned!
F1 Acid Jazz has correct conformation and spectacular movement in all three basic gaits with that real “look at me” athletic quality. He is a delight to handle and with these genetics is sure to take the world by storm!
