Lot 18 - Anky
Chestnut mare 16.1hh 1995 PPT LFG to Jive Magic
This is a beautiful big mare with a PPT to Jive Magic. She has truly massive paces and is scopey in every sense of the word. She is by Ilkay who had limited opportunity but did perform impressively up to PSG.
Ilkay himself is really well bred but has only a limited number of progeny competing.
Anky is out of Annaglanz, bred by Grand Prix judge and FEI rider Vicky Brydon. Anky’s dam is by Elfenglanz who was an imported Trakehner stallion competing at GP with West Australian Sally Leigh Woods. Annaglanz is out of Alpha II, dam of Mary Hanna’s GP dressage horse Londoner.
She is also the mother of Don Panache, campaigning with Olympic gold medallist Stuart Tinney at 2* eventing. Beefeater Alpha was Kristy Oatley-Nist’s first advanced dressage horse and Benito was an imported Trakehner stallion campaigned by Chris Chugg for a time at World Cup level.
This mare represents some rare high performance genetics and should throw the most magnificent Jive foal. Last year’s Jive filly has been retained by Heath and Rozzie Ryan for stud duties.
