Maxwell is by Medallion, one of the most successful, recognisable and trainable stallions in Australia today and boasts perhaps the richest bank of Grand Prix dressage genetics in the country.
Medallion, himself campaigned at Grand Prix by Ann-Maree Lourey, is by Denmark?s May Sherif, the only sire ever of two World Cup final winners in Andiamo (Sven Rothenberger) and Matador (Kyra Kirkland).
His dam is by Dutch Gold (Olympic GP stallion with Jennie Loriston-Clark), in turn by Dutch Courage (also an Olympic GP stallion with Jennie).
His dam is out of Lonely Breeze by another GP stallion, Xenocles, out of Desert Storm, Jennie?s first (and she says her best) GP horse.
