Lot 11 Jude
Black colt, 16/12/2005
Jude has two salubrious full brothers - Justin Thyme was sold at Auction of the Stars 2004 to Australian Olympian Mary Hanna and Jiminy Cricket was sold at 2005 Auction of the Stars to Hunter dressage rider Michelle Cunningham.
It is a tall order to follow his two brothers but Jude has a smooth confidence about him, backed up with a thumping big rhythm that courses through his paces. There is a rhythmic relentlessness about Jude.
Jude is by Jive Magic, Rozzie Ryan?s special project heading into the Beijing Olympics. Jude?s uncle is Chatham Park Jac (full brother to Jive Magic) who just won his first Grand Prix start with Australian Olympian Rachel Sanna.
Jude?s dam is also from fascinating performance bloodlines ? Marge is by Richmeed Medallion, one of only three Grand Prix dressage stallions in Australia. Medallion is by Danish stallion May Sherif, the only stallion in the world to sire two World Cup freestyle winners (Matador ridden by Kyra Kirkland, Andiamo ridden by Sven Rothernberger).
Marge is out of Lucilla, full sister to Stirling Liberty (World Cup showjumper with Australian Olympian Gavin Chester and sire of GP champion Snowy River Blackwood with Di Jenkyn).
Jude has great plans for the future.
